Larch collected

Today we collected the dressed larch and oak from Scottish Wood in Fife.  Two of us went for a little wander into the depth of Fife where a neat pile of generous oversized wood was waiting. We returned with a car full & loaded with freshly cut wood.

Beautifull sunshine tempted us to Oakley to sit in the sun and eat bacon butties before returning to base.

Happy to report that the skiff mould has been leveled to a high degree of precision. A wee mistake with the slotting in stern supports cost us a few headscratches and hours – we had it the wrong way round!

The laminating jig is also ready to go and will hopefully see action this weekend.
